A new design came to life: ""The Nordic Heart"". Inspired by the Nordic heart quilt block I have admired for some time. I decided to give it a try on an ornament, combined kimekomi and a weaving technique and here it is🎉🎉 in a patriotic theme.

This beautiful ornament is featuring hearts on both sides of the ornament💗💗. It would make a lovely nursery decor. Soft pastel colors in gray, white and pink used in this ornament using a 9cm styrofoam ball.
I crafted this ornament with the utmost love and care and great attention to detail in a smoke free / pet free environment, using three different fabrics.
Notice all the silver embellishments and the little charms: a little heart and a year charm!!

Santa claus or St Nicholas used to wear his Bishop's red robes often. During Victorian times and before that, he wore a range of colors (red, green, blue and brown fur) but red was always his favorite! I love cross stitching in the summertime and I combined my love for cross stitching and crafting quilted balls in these beautiful ornaments.
On some of the ornaments I have used the etoile DMC floss for a more sparkling effect (the 8 cm ball ornaments). The fabrics used in these ornaments are satin, taffeta and golden lurex and for the final touch lots of crystal beads to add even more "bling" to these beauties.

These styrofoam bells were especially made for Ada Quilted Creations. They are solid bells and do not have a gap on the bottom.
The bells are available in two sizes as described below.
