I had been playing around with this pattern idea in my mind for quite some time before I acted on it. I wanted to create something elegant, yet not similar to other ornaments I’ve made over the years! I hope I accomplished that. I was also inspired by a specific folding technique from “The Ornament Girl”, used in one of their monthly kits / ornaments (Empress Acorn).
